Difference in SX and ZX models..

This is my first post here been coming to this site for awhile though.

Bought an 04 SX 190 last summer and love it. Big leap from my previos boat
(79 Skeeter SS-1 which I still have).

My question is what is the difference in the SX and ZX models.

For the ZX190 and SX190, the beam on the ZX is a little wider, and the ZX is rated for a 175HP but the SX is only rated for 150HP. Or at least that's what shows for the 09s. There are probably other options/features that are different but that's what I see first hand.

Also, looks like the ZX comes with hydrolic steering and a jackplate but the SX does not.

ZX has a little sleeker hull design, ZX has the aluminum brace system in the transom along with no splash well, ZX's have more bells and whistles. Basically SX's are geared more to meet the standards and budget of your typical weekend warrior and the ZX's are more equiped and budgeted towards a more serious tournament type boat. Both great boats, just depends on your wants and needs. I have an '05 SX190 and it has been a great fishing platform.

Thanks for the info. I was just curious. The SX 190 Ive got is a great boat. Just got done installing the recessed trolling motor foot tray last, cant wait to try it out.
