Soooo.... I'm at 3.25 below the pad, 27" Yamaha T1 prop, turning 5850rpm and GPS Speed best is 69.8, usually turning 5750-5800 at 68.x-69.x mph... Water pressure came up actually when I raised the plate last time, running 22+psi at WOT... 12" Slidemaster Plate, no spacers or wedges...
According to the prop slip calculator, I'm running about 13% slip... Guys in my club were commenting on how high my rooster tail was last weekend...
So, It would seem that I need to come up more on the plate, but would prefer to get close this time and fine tune from there...
3.25" below seemed reasonable, but what is realistic for coming up, should I jump a 1/2", 3/4" or a full inch?
