    ZX202 w/ a Yamaha 225 OX66

Found a decent deal on a 2000 ZX202 with the OX66 225. Is the 202 a good ride? Any issues? Good hull design? What about that motor? Any major issues with that year or model?

Great fishing boat, great reliable motor. Huge front deck on the boat, tons of storage (although some of it is a bit shallow).

Same rig that I have. No complaints.

Great boat. Dad had one just like it and it was an awesome ride. It is what became the ZX225 of today.

Can't speak for the boat (I have a ZX225) but that motor is rock solid. It likes gas a little more than I would prefer but it's a good buy.

Do any of your storage boxes leak? I had a Ranger that had that problem. I couldn't deal with it so I got rid of it. Hope the Skeeter's don't have that problem.

The only compartment I have trouble with is the little compartment under the driver's seat. In a heavy rain, the stuff inside will get wet. All the others stay completely dry.

Got one.... Great fishing platform, Still looks great runs great. Solid dry ride. Fish many tourneys a year, performs great everytime. My partner has the 225 basicly the same boat, litlle faster but the ride is the same. I started to move up to a 225 this year but the economy put the quahitas on that, I have no regrets about staying with the 202. If the deal is right you weill be happy with the boat. Cant tell much but that is mine in my sig....

I had a 99 202 with a 200, it was an awesome boat. Its the same hull as the ZX225.
