JJhon or Jason or anyone that knows???

Ok I have a ?? for you guys were or what holes are you using to bolt your motor to the j/p

I'm now at 2 5/8" split and it seems to me that I'm running out of j/p

here is what mine looks like

seems to me that the motor needs to be taken up a hole or 2 if I want to go any higher, I have not ran the boat since I just moved the j/p up this morning from 2 1/8" to 2 5/8"

run it first before moving it up more. and yes you'll have to move the motor up on the j/p if you want to go higher. Youshould try it everytime it goes up and watch that water pressure.

I have an 06 20i and I moved mine to the second hole from the bottom which allowed me to go 1" below the pad which is where I'm currently set at. Didn't see much of a difference going up until I got to around 1 1/2" below the pad. Thats where things started to change. I had my 25t1 b/p by Mark and the last run I made with this set up was 76 . ?? gps with full tanks by myself at 5950 rpm with high humidity . Still playing with this set up and stilll have good water pressure. Can't go any higher where it's at now and don't plan to. I've heard that 1 3/4" below the pad is optimum for the 20I but that wasn't the sweet spot for mine but did get me in the neighberhood.

Mine are mounted on the exact same holes. There is about 2 7/8" space between the splits currently. It was 1 7/8" between from the factory and ran pretty good there with stock everything.

That's where they come in from the factory and most have around a 2" split. You can do as stated and move the engine to get more height.
But watch it, you will begin to loose speed and WP soon.

Re: JJhon or Jason or anyone that knows??? (Jason Hale)

I got it set at 2 3/4" split right now and it looks like I could go up 1/4" more if needed I have over 20psi of water right now at 5000rpm's, my home lake was a zoo yesterday so I could not really run it to see if my rpm's went up or not I was only getting 5500 at wot with my spare prop and only getting about 5600 with the 25T-1 that came on the boat.

I'll be down the hill on wed's and will be about 500' above sea but on a small lake so I'll run the prop thats on it and see if my rpm's went up, I'll be on Lake Mead at the end of the month for a TOC and I'll spend a week there and take 1 day to set it up with the 25T-1 that Mark just B&B

Thanks guys for all your info

Just got back from the lake and WOW!!

Just ran the 25T1 that Mark B&B'd. It was on the 20I, with 1/4 tank of fuel in each side and light gear. One 200lb. man, it ran 77.4 GPS @ 92 degrees and 90 % humidity. We truned 6K and it handled like a dream. We had it as high as the plate would go. We may have to come down a little when fully loaded, but we'll see.

Can't wait till it cools off and we can fly.

WOW is all I can say, I sure hope I get close to that when I put my prop on

on a side note this is what I got yesterday with my spare prop thats a 25p Tubro lighting
    water temp 79.2
    air temp 80
    water psi was about 22
rpm 5700 so I got 200 more r's down the hill
    max speed was 71.60

I may have seen 72 but I ran out of lake

this was at about 300 above sea
