I finally got a day of last Sunday and called up a buddy to go fishing. During the trip I discovered that my stereo was not working. I normally only turn it on if I am fishing alone or sometimes when my wife comes along, but I'm leaving next Thursday for the owner's tournament on Fork and want to listen to the hourly weighins on KMOO. So after work on Tuesday I checked the fuses and didn't fins any problems there. After a checking everything out with a 12V checklight, it turns out that I have power to the stereo and have a good ground, so the stereo itself has to be bad. I dug out my file on the boat and found that the stereo had a 1 year warantee which is now expired. So, I find the same unit online but decide to wait and check with my dealer before pulling the trigger on the order. Wednesday afternoon I called up my dealer. He pulled up my records in just a few seconds and told me that Skeeter would cover the stereo for an extra 2 years beyond the year that Clarion covers it. He said they would send out a new unit and I could send back the old one in the same box. The new unit arrived today from Skeeter.
