HELP...on raised SKEETER letters

My rig (06 Zx200) has the raised SKEETER letters on both upper sides...as expected, one letter got sliced thru...gluing it just does not get it done...need some input...
Can I just take off the letters (using hairdryer)?
Have you done that?
Can you order just the white T? How?
Does it have a peel off and stick procedure for replacement letters?

I had to order the whole "SKEETER" sticker to get the "R" I needed. It was $40 from my local dealer.

I used a razor blade to pull up a corner of the letter and simply pulled it off. I used some thinner to get the glue residue off.

There are a few guys on here that have letters.....jsut wait and see if they respond to your post. I think they may be the same letters as on the 96 Skeeter.

Thanks... am thinking on the issue...with the hot temps here I may just want to take the letters off that side and live with it... can I order letters directly?

Find Crazy Elvis and get the "bug." I had the same problem. I took the letters off and had Elvis make a bug for me. Same colors as my boat. It looks really good.

Am leaning that way...tied up till June with other matters but in will be done one way or the other next month.

On my 07 boat had skeeter stickers wanting to pull off at corners, the skeeter guys sent me some new ones, other guys boats in other brands are doin same thing, when my letters completely pulls off ill have some of the decal guys make some custom decals in custom colors for my boat, theyll stick alot better and look alot better, my new raised decals are black outlined in white, ill consider in sellin them

I lost a couple first time out to lake St. Clair. They never stay on. I just took a pic of the sticker and measurements to a custom decal shop and had him make two. Worked great, plus you can customize.
