    problem trim

    ok i just bought this boat 3 days ago first time i take it out this morning i go to take off and trim up to get the boat to sit down and wow wont trim up it will trim up and down in driveway but when the water pushes the boat the trim goes down but not up. The water will actually push the motor down when under power i checked to make sure the ram thing has hydraulic fluid what do you guys think

    Model and serial #'s please. Does sound like a relay problem to me. Does it click, or humm. More info in means more info out!!

    ok give me a few i will get the numbers see when the boat is in the driveway it will go up and down great when up acceleration it will go down just not up and i cant hear anything honestly coming from i even had my buddy while under acceleration reach back and try to raise it using the trim on the side of motor he said it would raise either when pressing the button and didnt seem to make noise either but if i go back to idle it will raise then when i start to accelerate it will just boom go down on its own man this is my first boat and very upsetting thanks for any input

    Make sure your manual release screw is tightened fully it is on the side of the mounting bracket.

    Patience grasshopper it was the weekend ya know!! These guys do day jobs just like we do, they'll be around this evening.
