Good thing you don't have the 2.6. 70 would be unrealistic under any load. I tried for years 67 was best I could get.

update guys, while i was in dealer for an engine ck, i finally got to try another prop, it was my dealer recommends , tempest, i wanted to try a 26p in it and he talked me out of it, so i ran the 25p in tempest, i beleve it was a tempest plus, ran it an was still disappointed , a little bit slower to get on plane, (approx 1/2sec) and same on top end , maybe 1/2 mile slower ....so that make three props ive tried all in 25p, yammie t-1, TXP, & tempest, all are so close to one another that theres not enough difference between em, my T-1 has better hole shot than any of em , i guess due to the big diameter ( 15 1/8 ) , and the txp had a slight advantage only 1mph on top and that was with jack plate to max on height, an led to me droppin back down to keep prop from blowin out, so still not enough advantage to make a difference, and my txp doesnt do as well with heavy loads, as the T-1, just a update guys, i didnt have time to play with jack plate while tryin out tempest prop, but my jack plate is already 2 1/4 below pad, so it pretty close to what its gonna perform its best you would think, but who knows...just givin ya guys a update on another prop that i tried on our same boats
T1 was stock with my rig, the 26TXP on the way will be the spare... can't do better from all I read.

I've heard that their phase kits also improve efficiency.

Had Phase I kit in my older Skeeter...was great BUT does require 89 octane for the HP heads.

yea i forgot about the reeds upgrade which is part of a phase, ...supposed to increase fuel burn
I had composite reeds, tuner, HP heads...89 octane but boat was scourge of the 225s at blastoff. Good fun.
