What kind of speeds will this boat do with a 200hp ?? I think this would make a very nice package. It seems to be a nice around boat, from the spec. sheets. Thanks

They will run upper 60's loaded and 70 light. This is one of the finest boats Skeeter builds. You won't be disappointed in the rig.

How much different of a ride will the ZX225 have over the ZX200?? The reason I am looking at the ZX200 is I may start to fish some smaller lakes, and a big boat is harder load and unload from the trailer. Also I may stop fishing tournaments in a few years.
I have a zx 195c wich is the same boat just a little older(mine is a 99) and I get 70 mph with me and a full load. just got back from some big time wind at lake fork and the ride and everything about the boat espetially the fishablity and control was great. you will love the zx200.![]()

i have an 07 ZX200, GPS speeds are 66.5 heavy loads, 69.5 light loads, used the TXP prop and the T-1 prop no difference, mine averages 67 moh gps with heavy loads two people with full 50 gal of gas
On my 2nd ZX200...mine is now a 2006 bought new late last October...ran 71.1 gps with light load 3 times last fall with 25 T1 a tad below 6k and 2 inches below pad ... she won't do more so I don't bother (unless some guy has run a 26 T1 and done better) heck, I put a Phase I in my 2000 rig with V-Max 200 and ran 74.4gps (salty) with heavy load which ran off from most all 225s... no wonder the ZX200 is #1 seller...

I just came across a deal on an 06 ZX200 that had 27 hours on the motor. I wasn't even looking for a boat when i decided to buy this boat because it was almost a steal! Anyways I was very skeptical because I was going from a Triton TR20 with a 225 HO. I was very pleasantly surprised at the purformance of this rig. All the posts are correct, I GPS the SKEETER at 70.9 (light load) the day i tried it out and about 68.5 with 2 people. The hole shot was unbelievalbe. Even though it is 6 inches shorter than my Triton, it fishes about the same. The front deck is actually bigger on the SKEETER. I was on Guntersville a few weeks back in some 4 to 6 foot rollers and it handled them fine, it was rough but it made it through them fine. I also get about 2 times the gas mileage as I did with my carberated 225 HO. I do not miss my TRITON at all!!!!![]()
