Never had a Skeeter but I'm thinking of buying a Skeeter 2002 zx 190 powered by a 2002 175 VMAX HPDI. Anybody out there with this rig? Any positive or negative things to say about it? Thanks for your help.

I had a ZX185c with a 150 and it was a great. Only sold it only to purchase a Skeeter ZX225. Great boat with lots of storage.

You'll be happy with any ZX model purchase, it is worth noting though that Skeeter came out with some new options in the 2003 model year that are really nice (Day box, new seats, etc)
I can't live without the daybox...
The ZX190 with a 175 should fly...

I have a 06 and love it.
I just recently purchased a 08 skeeter zx190 with a 150 yamaha vmax.
i dont have anything bad to complain about. it runs great and has an incredible hole shot. it handles rough water very well and has plenty of storage. you will be plenty satisfied with the boat.
Adam,
Good to see you on here. Hope everything is going good with the boat. Please post some pics so they can all see your new boat.
As for the ZX190, it is the best all around rig for the money. We sell more 190's than anything and everyone loves them. You will be happy with your purchase.
I live around 1 1/2 from Boston near Springfield and own a 07' ZX190 175hpdi. If you want to test drive and check out my boat your more than welcome. Just shoot me a IM if interested.
I have an 03 TZX 190 and LOVE it. It rides great and fishes much bigger than it is. I can also fish 3 comfortably. You won't be disappointed.![]()

Thanks guys for all the posts and thanks for the test ride offer. Unfortunately this particular boat didn't work out but after looking at a few I can see why you guys like Skeeter so much - great boats! Thanks again.
