    Re: Hydro-Tec question... (Rodney Bledsoe)

My 06 zx 200 stock was running about 69 - 69.5, with a slightly worked 25 T-1, once I added the phase I kit, (heads and reeds), it went to 72 ish.. Then I did a 225 ecm, and a 225 throttle arm (the throttle arm is a must cause it opens the throttle a little more, and the tps a bunch more) and also a 1.75 gear lower unit, and was consistently running 74.7-75.2, fishing load 1 guy, two people 73 was the norm.. Now a friend of mine is running a stock 05 200 on an 05 tzx 200 and I loaned him just the ecm and throttle arm, and he is running 71.3 - 71.5 fairly heavy and 72.5 lighter, up from 69.. He also has the 1.81 gear lower on his.. I didn't put a ton of tuning into that combo, cause I jumped into a gorilla of a motor from Hydro-tec, and that one got me 87.6 on the rev limiter, with a 29 ASX... The H-T guys know the whole combo on the Skeeters, and if you give them a call, they'll be able to get you set right up!! Hope this helps answer some questions, probably doesn't help things financially though!!!

    My 2000 ZX195 with 200 V-Max went to 74.4gps after the P1 kit (heads-tuner-composite reeds and 89 octane...she was salty...prop went from 25 to 27 pitch!)...the 225s ate my waves...loved it... current 200 HDPI on 2006 ZX200 is in 5 year warranty so am limited to 69-70gps.
