i got a buddy that has a 04 sx 190 with a 150 vmax and he switched to a 24 tempest said the 25 was just a tad to much for his boat and he is gettin 64 gps with his now
Some might turn the 25M with decent results, but the wot rpms are lower. I wish Yamaha offered both odd and even pitches, then a 24 would be available. IMO, the 23M is better suited for application, as I prefer to keep the rpms higher.

The 24 bravo1 will be the best holeshot and load carrying prop... But it will be a few mph slower on the big end.

Since you already have the 25M, I suggest having it worked by our BBC prop guy, Mark Croxton. We need to know more info on your current setup.

I have a 25M on my Mariner Mag III 150, with a 6" Springfield plate thats 10" offset, its sitting 2.5" below pad. I can turn mine about 5850-5900 but thats probably due to the higher gear ratio of the Mariner? I run 65-67 gps with me, partner and a full load, best I have seen is 70.9 gps with half a tank and just me on a 58 degree morning.
