ZX dash replacement cost

I have a 2004 ZX225 and the dash started to act up today.

I have seen several posts about others having this issue and having to go to the newer style switches that were on the 2006 model ZX boats.

I am out of warranty so I doubt it would covered by skeeter unless there is a known problem with these units. My question is, if you did have to replace the switches, what was the cost? Just trying to prepare myself for the price shock.

call Skeeter and ask a rep. I have heard of them replacing older dashes for free.

Thanks Chris. I actually went back and did a search of the Skeeter forum and found that several others had theirs replaced by Skeeter. I will be giving them a call on Monday and see what they have to say.

I had three dash replacements in my ZX225! Darby is great to work with. 20I has had no problems with the switches.

my 02 ZX200 had the same problem...Local dealer replaced at no cost back in 05 no problems since.

something to check..I had the same issues a while back, the switch panel would go out for no reason at all. I tried everything until one day I turned on my areator pump and the panel went dead. I pulled the pump out and it was cracked, replaced pump and no more problems..I guess it was shorting out the entire board when the pump was running..just something to check before maybe getting a new panel..GL

Thanks, I don't think it is that since shutting it off at the breaker then turning it back on magically fixed it one time. Another time I hit switch to turn off the nav lights and it went to anchor then one more hit to turn the anchor light off and everything turned off.
