    TXP Props

Hey, quick question. I'm ready to order a txp prop for my 06 ZX200, and would like to know what pitch would be best. The boat now has a 25t1 worked by Mark turning 6K at 70.5 mph(gps), thats with just me 1/2 tank of gas and all my gear. Tourny loaded it's down around 66-68 gps, but still turns close to 6K. I figure which ever prop runs best, I could use the other as spare. Thanks, Jay

25P... Unless Mark has altered the pitch/cup/rake on your 25T1. It's hard to compare a stock prop to a worked prop.

Have you tried a 27M pro series?

    I'm assuming you have a 200 HPDI

No, I haven't tried the 27M. The motor is a 3.3L 200 HPDI. Thanks, Jay

Try one if you can... They are somewhat easy to find.

    2006 ZX200 specs wanted

I am breaking in my "new" 2006 3.3 HDPI on the ZX200 hull with the 25T1... sooo any specs are very appreciated... seems I can expect 68-69gps with a half tank... reelman@cableone.net
(I think jayc can get 70 no prob with a 26 pitch doing 5,700 or so)

Re: 2006 ZX200 specs wanted (reelman)

I prefer the T-1 to the TXP even tho a lot of guys rave about the TXP. The holeshot is better with a worked over T-1 and doesn't "blow out" when the boat breaks over (comes on plane).. I think the T-1 is also a better "tourney load" prop for the same reason, and I can sacrifice a mph or two for a quicker holeshot.. Now having said that, I have run my fastest top speed with a Croxtonized TXP, I just don't care for the holeshot... If your budget allows get one of each, and play around..

I am running a 26TXP on my 20i w/250HPDI that Mark worked and installed PVS holes, the speed and holeshot are awesome!!!
