I have a 21-I Class that was purchased back in October of 2006 that my dealer just replaced the cranking battery (Trojan) Type 24 that he states that I over serviced. Now that is absolute bunk to me. I have never heard of such a thing.
He replaced it with a type 27 at $107 bucks. Now that battery was warranteed for four years I believe and I should have gotten a major discount on the new one or it should have been replaced for free.
Am I crazy here????

My Trojans are only warranted for 6 months.then prorated for the next 6. It does suck. Especially when you ask your dealer and they tell you a whole different story.

AC DELCO Batteries are 18 month free replacement and then pro rated after that. I don't think it is the best battery,But they have good warranty.
Just bought a 2006 SX200 with a Trojan crank, would not hold a charge or be fully charged... its 23 months old! I ran to Wally and got a 625amper for $66 with lots better than a 6 month warranty (which is probably 18 days actual use for the average guy). Also hear very good things about DELCOs... but I had a tournament the next morning so...
