    06' I-Class hull modification

I just got my boat back from having the hull modified. I was having the pourposing problem at slow speeds and problems with the hull rocking while in turns. I had the boat out the other day and the modification has made the boat much better. It is like a different boat now. I had 3 adults in the boat with full gas and livewells and hardly no bouncing and turning the boat is much better. I have not driven the boat with a normal load yet so I will let everyone know how it drives when I do that.

From what I have been told, some of the 06' 20i-class (mine was one) there was a problem with how the boat handled during a turn and there was excessive pourposing at slow speeds.(under 40mph) I think it was up to the dealer to have them sent back if the customer wanted to do something to the hull to correct this problem. ( I believe the 07 model's have a little different hull to correct this problem) What ever they did to mine has made the boat 100% better.

There were some weight distribution issues with the gas tank and the bottom of the boat needed some work. It only affected a few dozen I was told. I was not told however what the 100% fix was. We had 1 go back and it ran perfect when it came back to us.

Mine is in Texas right now for the same thing. According to what they told me they add some hook and make adjustments to the chines. Can't wait to get it back and take it for a ride.
