    Re: team members (billy skeeter)

First off, you must start through your dealer. Most dealers will put you on their pro staff first, and from there work your way to skeeter. It takes a lot of work, time, and commitment. They look for help at all your local boat shows, promotions, and your ability to sell boats.
I started four years ago as a Team Member from my dealership, and worked my way up to a Skeeter Team Member. Working with your regional rep and marketing yourself helps a lot too. On average I do about 10-12 days a year with boat shows, 3-4 demo rides, and another 10-12 days on other promotions such as in store promitions, tackle store promotions, and any other events which may come up. On top of that I fish anywhere between 15-20 tournaments a year. It is a huge commitment with a lot of time, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Also, in most instances they want you to run a new boat each year to promote the new line and features.

    Good luck!

Our rep hasn't really stated that you have to run a different rig every year and they haven't really pushed the tournaments either. Guaranteed that you're going to pull boats to and from the nearest boat show and wipe and clean a whole lot of square inches of boat surface!! And NEVER let anyone hear you bad mouth your brand!!!

Bottom line to being team member and remain a team member is "PROMOTE AND SELL" You do not have to have a new boat every year, but it’s a lot easier to sell a new line of products when you have one behind Truck. Learn your product from the I-class to the salt water series and ask you local dealer if there is any way you
Can help out at the next boat show etc... Get you foot in the door "so to speak" Good luck!!!!

Re: team members (THE SKEETER MAN)

Not that i want to be a team member, but i would never recommend anyone to my dealer. Hell, i just hate going there to get oil. Needless to say, if i get another Skeeter, it will not be from them.

Just go on Ebay and buy a Team Skeeter decal for your boat. Then get the visor/hat/shirt with it an bam! You're on team skeeter. Im planning on getting a team skeeter decal made for my new 21i just because, it adds a little something without you having to do anything!

    Re: team members (Rodney Bledsoe)

haha, I just like the decal. Like with my golf equipment, I like getting items that are "tour only", meaning they were made for someone on the PGA tour. Im not going to walk around claiming im on the "team", I just want them for novelty reasons. I think the team stickers are all the same, but I want mine made with yellow lettering for team, instead of red, so you would know right away its not real. (unless someone wanted to send me a couple of extra decals they have laying around ) I am spending 60k on their boat, the least they could do is give me some stickers!

Pexeter...I hear it on good authority that buying a Team sticker won't speed up the delivery of your boat, despite the rumors...
