    Skeeter retractable tie downs ***UPDATE***

Anyone know where I can get the small plastic rope ends for the retractable tie downs? Im not going to give Skeeter $15 a piece for a $2 part.

I have. Seems these little things are not an everyday item, guess thats why Skeeter wants $30 for a set of them

Go to this site http://www.itwnexus.com/index.html and you can order free samples of kind of clip on there. These are the ones that I ordered a couple of months agohttp://www.itwnexus.com/catalo...5ae1e I received them within a week of placing my order.

Re: Skeeter retractable tie downs (Skeeter Jay)

Thanks Jay, but I am looking for the plastic ends for the tie down ropes, that are beside the cleats, used to tie up to a dock.
That is a good site for the bungee stuff though, thanks!

I was a little slow, but you got the website up before i could. Is it the tie downs for the rods on the deck? I'm lost as to what you are needing.

Re: Skeeter retractable tie downs (fishin couillon)

No, not the rod tie downs, although I did just order a few of those sinse they are free

Let me try this again. On the bow on each side there is a cleat used for tying up to a dock.
On the 202c Skeeters, dont know about the others, the is a retractable rope that is built in to the cleat, on the end of that rope is a black plastic round cap, so that you can grab a hold of the rope and pull it out and so that the rope will not go inside the cleat. I will take a pic tomorrow and post.

    Charger,

I know what you are talking about. Call me @ 1-877-737-8178 for the size and I maybe be able to get you a sample or two from one of my suppliers. I own a fastener & industrial supply company in Auburn,WA and probably help you out.

They are made by Worth industries. Do a search and you should be able to find them.

OOhhh.. (need a lightbulb icon) I know what you are looking for now there are always soo many people on here looking to rebuild their rod straps that I automatically thought that was what you was wanting. I think all the later model ZX's have the retractable bungee ropes in the cleats, but I dont have a clue where to get parts for them. But luckily it looks like Russ can hook ya up.

They are called Moor Mates but I don't know where to get parts and can't find the manufacturer info on the web.
