    The new ZX line

Anybody seen pics of the new ZX boats? I wasnt to impressed. I think they are doing away with the zx250 and 300's as well. I hope the iclass price comes down a little or they will lose some business. The new tritons are horendous though. My dealer has the new flyers on the zx's so you might be able to get it from the website now. I dont know.

The dealer meeting isn't until next week! That's when they will reveal everything. Who is your dealer?

Re: The new ZX line (carltonm1)

Dealer Meeting will start Sunday and I will be there and try to post pics in the evenings. I was impressed with the new ZX225 I seen at the Photo Shoot. Nice layout and some great changes.

hopefully they look better in front of you than they do in the pics in the new sales catalogs. I was happy to see some of the changes though.

Well . . . I guess the dealer meeting came and went. Any pictures from anyone of the changes to the ZX line? Inquiring minds want to know.

Re: The new ZX line (LittleBugMan)

Little Bug Man - thanks for the link.

I checked out the pics and I gotta tell you - I'm not impressed with the new dash and the new graphics . I'll reserve final judgment until I lay eyes on one, but the dash and the graphics looks really plain to me. Did they do away with the big deck stripe or did the one boat on basszone just not have one? They clearly made the S stripe smaller, which gives you less color on the side of the boat. I definitely like the new trailer fenders, but that was a no brainer - The old painted steel EZ Loader fenders were very 1990's and had to go. Guess I'll have to wait see them in person at the Owner's tourney in October.

Re: The new ZX line (MartyB)

I added some images to the 2007 Topic here: http://www.bbcboards.net...23821

The ZX250 I heard will still be available. It just has not been produced yet.

The poly fenders are an option. As are many items on the ZX to allow you to customize it to your preferences. Your local dealer should have information if he attended the meeting. You really need to take a closer look. The floor layout is similar to the I class. Bigger Storage, Modular Consoles, and many other new items. This is a great addition to the Skeeter Line and should be a great seller for those that do not need want to make the step into the I Class.

Re: The new ZX line (MD ZX225)

They are extremely comfortable. They look flat but you have to sit in them to appreciate them. I was really shocked. Material looks highly durable. It's hard to beat the I Class seat but the new ZX seats are very close in comfort. You really need to get in one and drive one to appreciate what Skeeter has brought in this package. Skeeter just keeps bringing more and more continued innovations and refinements to their boats.

I was able to take a few of the vendors on the water that work with other brand products and they are very impressed with Skeeters committment to high quality products and not cutting corners. They also are amazed at the Skeeter ride - dry was one thing I heard alot, smooth and comfortable, and how easy they are to drive - you can virtually take your hands off the wheel and it will keep its line. One mentioned it was like driving a Cadillac.
