simply glueing screws back in does not minimize movement between deck and hull.5200 is regular cure-4200 fast cure

this happens to all boats. are you saying that sealant will stop the deck to hull movement?

This is common on several brands and is not limited to transom areas.I have found it occurs less in boats using adhesives to aid in attaching deck to hull. The adhesive is flexible,so it does not provide rigidity,it just minimizes the sliding action between the halves.New or older boats it works.

So any suggestions if a guy wanted to do this all the way around the rail? I ran some rough water lately, and some of the screws backed out... Anyone have any advice? I'd like to shore 'em all up.... Should it only be done if the screw has backed out or would it hurt to back them out one at a time and use the 4200 or 5200?
