I am looking at a boat with this motor on it, The motor could not have been used much because it still looks brand new, not even a scratch on the Skeg. Any input on this motor would be greatly appreciated. I have never seen a motor like this. Thanks.

If it is a 200, it is really about a 225. Good motor. They run well, have lots of bottom end. I had a 97 venom, and loved it.

I have a '91 LE. So far so good (knock on wood).
I also have a 91 25 LE. lots of low end and mine turns 5500-5600 WOT on my 89 201 pro lead sled. with my 4 blade spinelli 25, I get 62 gps. Buddy says he likes the way it will pick up and go form mid rps ot wot. it will stick you to the seat with teh acceleration. I have had it for a year now and LOVE IT! (came from a '80 85 horse). From everything I read, the Limited edition is a Factory Tuned motor much like the HO. said to operate in the higher end of the 10% rule. Post the model # and those round here can give you much better details. mine was redone in 2001 and has the newer VRO on it. Being carbed, you can hear her suck dollar bills out of my wallet at WOT. worse than a stripper! WOt I get 4 mpg, runs really good at 4000-5000 and there I guestimate at 7-8 mpg.

I have a '92 200 LE on a Bullet 20XRD...had it for a few years & no problems other than cold startup. Runs mid 70s with 2 people & a load...running a 27" Renegade prop. Great holeshot...could get more topend if I put a low water pickup & a cone on the LU & started surfacing the prop but then the carrier bearing probably wouldn't last very long.
I saw a limited edition @ the Classic this year, Was dark blue with gold letters. That was one beautiful engine!!!!
The 94s have a different cowling and are finger ported. The LE 200 which I think that one is, makes about 220 at the prop. It is a factory motor where as the earlier LEs where Second Effort motors.
They are good motors and a good foundation for a lake motor build up.
What boat are you looking to put it on?
It is a 200 Evinrude and I am looking at it on a Ranger 487, it is Dark Blue with gold letters, not a scratch on it. Thanks for all of the input.

What is your Water pressure at WOT? Does your motor have the power boost cooling?
