Removing Sterring wheel from '88 364V

Can someone please tell me how to remove the steering wheel from a '88 364V? I want to install a blinker style trim.

You need a steering wheel puller! LOL.
No joke, that's what its called.
Remove the center nut from the hub. Remove the steering wheel from the hub. Then attach the hub puller using two bolts that will fit the bolt holes where the wheel was attached to the hub. Tighten the wheel puller jack bolt in the center and the hub will pop right off.

Some say you can remove the center nut. Have someone pull upward on the steering wheel, then rap the shaft hard with a ball peen. Haven't tried it myself.
