Had mine out today. 58.5 with full gas tanks and livewells. By myself. No jack plate. 5450 rpm.

Most of the time loaded mid fifties and light would be upper fifties.

59 max on gps, no jackplate, alone, full wells, 1/2 tank of gas, & a bunch of gear. It'll do low 50's easy. Not sure how much gain you'd see with a jackplate.

That's the fastest I've heard for this boat/motor. Nicely done. That jackplate turned out to be a good investment.

The 8 inch jack plate helps this hull out a lot, but at 62.4 that is some awsome speeds right there, would not touch one thing on that rig.

    Is your Tempest stock?
    Or, had it been tweaked?

    Re: (Table Rock Special)

Stock prop....I was only able to hit that the one trip.

Last time out I couldn't get past 60 but the weather was a little rough for top speed.

That jackplate really helps the hull out alot!

    KEWL!

Sounds like you're borderline perfection on your Z setup. Don't touch that prop. Find a Tempest and have it tweaked for your spare. If you like the tweaked one better Sweet, if not, oh well. Sounds like you got a winner right out of the box.
