Great boat very stable fishing platfrom, rides real good, some guys don't like the rail locks, i did but some didn't

I have 09 Z 21 I'll 2nd what Rodney said rail locks take getting use to.

Great boat, great storage, great stable fishing platform. Hated the locks at first, now I prefer them over any other style!

I have a 2008 Z21 and love it. I decided on this boat because I wanted something with more interior room than my previous 18ft boat. The boat is very stable and a joy to fish from. Its very smooth riding and easy to drive, its just not the fastest thing on the lake... it aint the slowest either though. As stated earlier, some like the rails some don't. I have no problems with them myself.

How does the Ranger Z21 compare to the Z520?

no quite as wide feeling on the front deck........but I measured before and its only by inches but with how the comparments are laid out its looks alot different.......personally I prefer the z21 over the z520

09 Z21 here and really like it. The rail locks are pretty good too

The ride goes to the Z21 with out a doubt, the front pedestal area is five inches wider on the Z520 compared to the Z21, more storage in the Z21, Z520 will be 2 to 4 mph faster on top end though.

Like others have said the ride is alot better on the z21 than the z520 but it will cost you some speed,about 5-6mph from what ive rode in and fished out of...our z520 is a great fishing and riding machine,but ive rode in a couple z21s and 521s and the ride is def alot better in the 21fters...you wont be disapointed in either of them tho

The better ride occurs in the Z21 and Z521 in about 2 foot rollers, rides threw like they are not even there. in the real rough stuff of five foot rollers u want see thatuch difference.

I have a 2007 Z21 and love it more and more every time I use it! Great boat!
