Great job Carlos You did a great job. You can come over and help me work on my Hub now![]()
Scott, I would be there if you were a bit closer man!!!
Rodney, sure thing man! I really do enjoy doing that stuff.
I know you would.Just have to wait for my oil bath hub to arrive since one of mine went off on its own while driving home from getting the same axle replaced
Nice work C! How come you couldnt get the pump in the setback? I have two power pole pumps in mine!
Mini, they changed it from our other style of 520 and it is not as tall back there, too tight for my liking.
thanks guys!
Hey Carlos great work there Marine! You need to come to FL and work on my boat. Do you work for free beer?
You're gonna love that Bob's. I've had two and not a bit of trouble with either...and they move fast. So convient to have...rough water bump it down to keep the prop hooked up, getting on plane in real shallow water I can raise it all the way up and ease my 520 up with water pressue still good until you get it up - you just got to remember to lower it back down!
Anyway you're going to love it.

Carlos.....they guy I got my poles from has the same boat. I took the pumps out of his and helped him install the new ones....
That Bob's pump "may" be taller though
Mini
In the last picture of the pump, it has les than a 1/16 of an inch between the bottom of the pump and deck of the boat as I did not want it to sit directly on the deck due to the vibration back there. I did not want a pump rub hole in the oil tank.
It is pretty tall....
Around 2.5 ft reading the depth from the ducer mounted under the jackplate. Now it may bump the bottom a little, which is typically not a big deal down here because its soft in most areas. However, as you are aware, it could be a big problem up there depending on bottom composition.
Nice job Carlos! Way to go and Roger that on the wind, it's howling here too. Good time to get the boat squared away while staying off the water.
Let us know how she runs with that new plate!![]()
Chuck D
(Currently shopping for my next bass boat)
Mike, roger that1 thanks
Jarred, Chuck, thanks. Hope to play some this weekend after I get home from California.
Nice job on the install. I plan to install a jackplate on my boat within the next 2-3 weeks. Did you use any adhesive between the jackplate and transom?
