My trim stopped working and I have found the problem. Where the trim/tilt wire connects into the power dist panel one of the two metal prongs is slightly loose. If I apply downward pressure to the connector it works just fine. I guess I'm wanting to know if the metal prongs can be fixed without having to get the whole new panel? Or if anyone has a used panel as well. I've already posted this on the motor parts forum.

I had the same problem with my 98'. take the connector off, then take a straight screwdriver and knok the terminals back with a swift erasy blow .
