    Nashville Boat shows

What about the boat shows in Nashville this weekend. Are they worth attending or better to wait for the extravaganza in Feb.?

The one at the fairgrounds in Feb is the best show.

I've worked this show a couple of times in the past. It used to be all pleasure boats, but more and more fishing boats have made their way in. My wife and I are planning to ride up tomorrow.

If you want to look at some amazing boats though, this show is it. We think $60K is rediculous for a bass boat. You should see some of the Master Craft ski boats....

Wife and I went today. Quite a few bass boats represented. Skeeter, Triton, Stratos, Ranger, Nitro, and a Legend. The Skeeter was 'on sale' for 62K. C&O had the new 18' Stratos there. The one Legend was really tricked out with dual PowerPoles and custom face plates on the Lowrance units.

It was amazing to see some of these new ski/wake boats too. People think 50-60K for a bassboat is expensive (it is), but 100K for a wake boat is rediculous. At least with a bassboat you could win some money back...

One of the mini-yachts that was there had a sign hanging from it that said "$2,649 per Month".
