Several new options on my 921

I ordered a few new (to me) options on my 921, that I wanted to share. First is a bow tie down:

Next is the "E start". It allows you to jump your cranking battery from your trolling motor batteries with a toggle switch mounted by the control handle/shifter. Should be a good thing to have on one of those really long tournament days:

And last is livewell temp sensors that read on the Lowrance unit. Should help on those really hot summer day tournaments to keep an eye on your livewell water condition. (no pictures yet)

You have some great ideas. I am curious about the tie down on the bow hook. Is there a particular reason for the tie down as opposed to a safety chain? I was thinking about adding something as well for protection reasons since these trailers do not come with anything. Also i noticed you do not have the bracket in front of the spare tire. Did you request that it be removed or have they made a design change? I have been thinking about the e start as well, being concerned with everything running off of the starting battery.

We at Limit Out Marine asked Marine Master and Phoenix to change that configuration of the eye bracket.

    Thanks Russ,
That was a smart idea. I am thinking about removing mine as well since I don't see any need for it. I have thought about adding a small roller in it's place so the boat would not rub against the spare tire on steep ramps. This setup has the boat much closer to the spare tire than any other rig I have seen. I'm still trying to decide before I jump in and do something I wished I had not.

I just thought the retractable tie down was a good idea, and as Russ said, the bow hook has been relocated. I think the E start is a great idea, as I have been in boats that had a low cranking battery at the end of the day.

You are a smart man! Great ideas and that's a super pretty boat. I like that little tray that Tim put in his 921 too below the shifter. Congrats!
