Looking for a diagram

Hi, I just purchased a 1964 Evinrude, model 5402B, 5.5HP Fisherman. I am trying to find a diagram or some type of manual for it online, but 1968 seems to be the earliest I can find. Anyone know where I can find one? I want to start tinkering with it, but I would like to see a diagram first. Mostly I am interested in replacing the shift lever.

Any info is appreciated!

This company sells operator guides, service manuals etc. for older Evinrude/Johnson engines. They are the original or a copy of the original manual.

You need a service manual to help guide you in replacing the shifter.

You will need to provide them a complete model number and serial number so they can select the proper literature.
