    Running video of my 721

I got a new video camera in last week and took it out to shoot some running video out of my Phoenix 721 last Sunday. Using two cameras, I filmed the run and the gps so you can see the speed and map readout at the same time. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Re: Running video of my 721 (Scott McGehee)

Excellent video Scott. Great quality and a showcase example of how well the Phoenix hull handles at speed as you were MOVING through there buddy and totally under control at those speeds clearly. Way to go and thanks for posting. That's some pretty water down there.

Love that high pitch whine that the ProXS makes. Man I miss that sound. Maybe not for long though!! However, no decisions have been made on what I'll be powering up my new 921 with yet. This one goes up for sale shortly. Should be able to get some good photos done this week with the weather cooperating.

    Great video!!

I agree, great video! Absolutely stable. I saw it hit 77.1 one time. That's hauling the mail.

Thanks, guys. BTW, the speeds were with my normal tournament load, 1/2 tank of fuel and me (that's a load in itself).

Man I love watching birds fly! My buddy has a GoPro Hero and it's a fantastic camera.

A few weeks ago I watched all of the videos in your Youtube channel. My favorite was the lock video, because I have never experienced that first hand nor have I seen such a detailed account of how it works. It was very interesting, and it was neat to watch the water rise in 2x speed.

@ the 3:15 mark you were making the wide left hand turn at 73 mph ...I thought I saw the nose dip about 2 inches....I thought said these handle well

Awesome video....that sho is so quite I think you could have given a running commentary.

I'm sure that was driver error, probably when I had to dodge that duck.

That run was fun to watch..but no where near as fun as watching you wail on those frog fish...very nice.

10-4 to that. The Frog Video is classic, especially the sewer drain pipe fish. Love that and you gave a darn good explanation of the technique Scott. Good work.

Thanks Chuck & Matt. I've got a couple of more like the frog video shot and edited that will run in the next couple of weeks.

    Cant wait to see them.

Ps...you have some mad casting skills. The sewer fish had me on the edge of my seat..the boat moved to the right a bit and I thought...one more...you gotta toss in there one more time..then you did and whoosh!!!! AWESOME

Awesome video Scott! I love how these boats have so little movement around those sharp turns at 70-75 MPH!!
