    Safety Equipment...

Well work had different plans for me last weekend and I wasn't able to make it to TN to pick up my 719, but this weekend is different!!! I had scheduled vacation to run around all the WV lakes showing off the new but instead I will be down in TN running it around.

Is there anything included with the boat safety equipment wise? Such as fire extinguisher... paddle.. etc...?

    Re: Safety Equipment... (weeks)

I recently took the paddle out of my rig and figured I can get to the bank with the TM somehow if I have to and then put the daggers (Power Poles) down and wait for help.

Hopefully someone will spot me from the air unlike Tom Hanks in Castaway...

    Haha!!!

I recently bought a telescoping paddle at Wal-Mart that I will probably use instead of my old paddle.

Check your state for required equipment, Federal controlled waters have additional requirements. You will probably need to buy all of it. Some examples of required and optional equipment:

    Fire extinguisher.
Life jackets for everyone on board.
Type IV life saver throwable cushion.
    Signaling devices. (day and night)
    Horn
    First aid kit.
Anchor and anchor line...(some don't like this but it will keep you off the rocks if you lose all power).
    Boarding ladder.

    Re: Safety Equipment... (falcooon)

Appreciate it!!! I have everything that I need from my tin rig, was just getting packed and it hit me that I'd need all this stuff in the boat while breaking it in down in TN.
