It would be a blast. River fishing is great! Nothing like running over wingdams, stumpfields, or the nice quarter mile runs through 1 to 2 feet of water . Bring the armored lower units! Just ask Mark in the Props Forum what the river can do to those props. He should have a second home named for me by now

If anyone needs a partner, i'll be glad to fish with someone with a Phoenix, otherwise i won't have a Phoenix to fish out of. I'm sure my fishing partner and his dad will fish it out of their Phoenix.

Depending on the number of folks coming, i could cook BBQ for everyone. Wouldn't mind doing that at all and could pay for it unless we're having a big turnout. Even if we have a big turnout, every one could eat a good BBQ meal for cheap.

Man, that is one wild lookin' avatar Ed!

Guys, whoever puts the tourney together and decides on the lake, please make sure it has some grass in it! We don't have any here on Lake Norman thanks to Duke Power and grass carp and I can't tell you HOW MUCH I'd love to come out there & throw a frog all day long til my arm falls off!

Tim's Ford doesn't have any grass. Its the most local to Tullahoma and the biggest body of water around Tullahoma.

It is a great smallmouth lake.

Any updates as to if/ when/ where tourney might take place? Looking forward to seeing factory plus the big flock of Birds on the water, but have to make plans ahead of time.

Wilson Lake in NW Alabama or Ky Lake sounds good, to me. 1 1/2 to 5 hr drive from me.

I love how you photoshopped the mercury out of the picture of your soon to be phoenix. That is classic, haha I wouldnt want a pic of my boat with a mercury on it either.

    Lets do guntersville or pickwick.

    Re: Phoenix owners Tournament? (clm6741)

Pickwick may be a go. Wife is wanting to visit her sister in Florence sometime in April. Not sure if that 721 will be ready by then. Last Mercury I owned.... Bought the boat on Saturday, had it replaced with a Yammie on Monday. Guess you could say I'm a Merc Limited fan.

BTW.... I actually had to photoshop the Phoenix logo on the boat. When I flipped it horizontal, the name reversed. If you look at the logo on the trailer, you'll see why.
