    Question for the 719 Family

What is the length of the 719 from motor end to tongue with it folded? I've got two garage choices a 22' and a 25' and wanted to get ready for the new arrival. I needed to ask something the wait is killing me

I do not have one, but i know a 22' will not work unless you want to put it in at angle. Wish I had your problem though.

The widest part of the cowl according to Yamaha is 38 in (3ft 2in (engine vertical)) the phoenix 719 is listed at 19ft 8in. The swing trailer tongue seems to be right at the nose..So I am adding :

19 ft 8 in + 3ft 2 in = 22 ft 10 in..add a little for error (ie: jack plate length even though the cowl covers some of the jackplate; some tilt to the engine) + 8 inches = 23 ft 6 in..

Just an estimate for now ...even the 25 footer will be tight!

Email Jeff at the factory, I am sure he has a better number.

Re: Question for the 719 Family (falcooon)

I have a 719 with a 225 Merc an my garage is 24ft. It fits but its tight. I back mine in till I get close. Stop an put the tounge wheel down an just push it back easy till it touches. With the swing away tounge folded. The door misses the trolling motor by about 6in. This is with my motor still up (Transom Saver Swivl-Eze) in place. So if I was you an wanted room to at least walk around the front or back of the boat. Get a 25ft garage minimum. Hope this helps.

That's a bummer! I have a 22ft garage and was hoping to put one in there. So if you have 6" to spare and you still have your engine up. It would appear that it would be 23'6" with the motor up and the tongue open. I'd be curious to see what it would be with the motor down and turned completely left of right. That is what I have to do with my current rig but, don't have swing-away tongue.

Re: Question for the 719 Family (edowell)

I'm almost sure that with motor down and turned that boat will go in a 22 foot garage if you angle it. A single axle or go jacks will be almost required and it will be tight and aggravating to work around if you spend much time in your garage though. If you do consider a 618 Phoenix you will not be giving up alot other than speed as the 618 continues to amaze me in every way especially the ride for a 18 foot class boat.

Well that gives me hope! I have a dealer 3 miles away. I'll be taking a trip there this week.

I heard that HD Marine is the new Phoenix dealer in the Atlanta area, is that true?
