Evinrude Ficht Ram - alarm

I have a 2000 Ficht Ram 90 hp which used to work ok until now. Now, when turning on the ignition the horn goes on immediately, but all warning lamps goes off after the self-diagnostic test. I had it for check at a Norwegian "Rude" dealer, but they could not find anything wrong. No servicecodes appeared while they did the diagnostic on the EMM, and we have checked all sensors which seems to be ok.

The engine starts ok and all warning lamps is off while running.

What could be the reason for the horn sounding? Is there a relay or something that hang up?

The model and serial number of the engine is E90FPLSSR and G04756652.

I appreciate all answers and information regarding this engine.

It could be a problem with the System Check Gage. They will get moisture in them and corrode causing failure. See if you can borrow one to try.

I changed the tachometer and the problem was solved!

had the same problem with my ficht, a tech traced it to the tach, I had Faria istruments, so I called them about a replacement, gal said "I'll send one right out" I asked what it would cost, She said "nothing, they are guarenteed for life."
