Problem i am having is that my engine was running just fine and then it just stut off like it run out of gas . So i tryed to crank it and it tryed to crank but would not fire up . So my buddy had to pull me to ramp. He has a mecury engine 175efi. so at the house i tryed again to crank my engine no go but i looked in the back compartment and saw the gas primer bulb so i squeezed it and it was not tight so keep squeezeing it til it filled fuel fiflter. It cranked right up then but i don,t know if the problem is the bulb or the lift pump on this engine . I have 225ho Fhl srm engine 2004 DI. I haven,t went back to the lake to try it again to see if it loses the prime againe. This is first time i have any problems with this motor. Don,t know how many hrs on it a lot.
