Been lurking around for sometime on here trying to learn as much good/bad about nitro and z9's. I'm thinking about taking the plunge and have talked to both bps and local dealer. I've read on here that some of you guys state that you can get a better deal at a local dealer than bps. If this is the case, what would one expect as deal?
You will only be able to save on the add ons........graphs, troller up grades, motor upgrades, stuff like that. It really depends on the situation at the time you order. Some dealers can mark that stuff down more than BPS can. Some dealers stock different motors and will exchange when most BPS won't. They will only sell what the boat was ordered with.
You just have to do your homework. Price your boat out with your options on BPS, then go talk with your local dealers and see what you can save. Also, email some of the sponsor dealers here on BBC. I did and saved money over my local BPS store. I'm driving 6 hours to pick up the boat when it comes in, but it is worth the drive from what I saved.
