Hotfoot ?

I am about to install a hotfoot in my 898. I was wondering if any one could post a picture of where there cable is coming out of the hull to conect to the hotfoot? Thanks

Here are a couple pics of my hotfoot install. The dealer installed it for me when I bought the boat in 2006. The ring with the rubber in the middle of it (pic 2) is the coolest part of how they brought the cable through the glass.

Thanks that is what I need to know. Where did you get the black mat on the floor at, thats a great idea.

It was installed at the dealer when I bought the boat. Some smart people at Stokley's Marine!

Here's mine on my very similar 591. I got the clamshell instead of the cool rubber middle thing.

Can one of you tell me about how big the hole is where it comes out?

Not very big...just big enough for the cable to come through. 3/8" or 1/2" ....something like that.

Just make sure you don't put the screws through the hull! I know a guy that did.

I just did a install. The hole is 3/4''. I brought my cable out from the vertical part of the seat base next to the sidewall.
