Raise the moter up and try that. I would try about 3" below pad.
Raise the motor a 1/4" at a time until you either loose speed or get to 15 psi at WOT. Mine Z9 handles best at 2 3/4".![]()
Not sure on motor height needed, but I know the fury likes to be a little deeper.

And there is no "holding it".......you MUST make small steering corrections.
Generally, the higher the motor, the less effect it has, but it is the weight of the boat falling off pad, and you need to learn how to keep it from doing it.
And yes, the Fury's do like to run deeper.
And it is CHINE walk, not CHIME walk.

Guys this boat is really bad I will raise the motor 1/2 inch and try again. Sorry about the spelling. Any body have a z8 with 250 and how is it set up.
Thanks gunnerfish
Not to sound like a stupid question but how many boats have you had that would run the speeds you are capable of running? It's going to take some seat time to learn this boat. Check to make sure you have all your gear in the boat balanced. Fill your livewells and see if that makes a difference.
I have had 2 boats. Both Stratos and never one to do this. The Stratos never had to do anything to them. Dealer set them up and all I had to do was decide what prop I wanted. I will try what you talked about and see if that helps.
Thanks
I can tell you my first Nitro would walk to point i could not control it, got a B&B tempest and the walking went away. Would drive straight with very little driver input. My current Z9 with a 25p Fury does not walk at all, almost no driver input needed.
Also take a look at how your boat is balanced, too much weight on one side can make chine walking harder to control. If you can try another prop, even if its the same prop, just try it.

just by looking at your numbers i would say you need to raise your motor a little. you should have you psi about 15-22 wot. I dont have a nitro but have had 2 boats and both run best that way.![]()
