Livewell Switch/Nob

All,
I can turn my switch to auto and empty but for some reason I cannot turn it left to recirculate......... Please tell me where to start. What to try first and so on and so forth?
It couldnt be anything in the plumbing could it? It would suck to have to dig that deep.

I've got an '07 le-186 that I had the same problem. My partner showed me the valve inside the livewell that had to be pulled out. It's under the lip on the back wall, driver side on mine. I couldn't see it, had to feel for it. Moves in and out, one way for pump out and the other for recirculate. Your boat might be the same.

Thanks for the reply but thats not what I am talking about.

The actual switch will not spin to recirculate. It seems to be stuck. It will turn right to auto, back to empty, but I cannot get it to turn right to recirculate.

The valve under the livewell is the one that's stuck, not the lever. Take the pump out and spray high pressure water into it and wiggle the valve to break it loose. Sometimes sand, sediment, and debris get stuck in the valve and the lever will not turn.
