Anyone running a 4 blade on their Merc 250 Pro XS and 211 boat? Thinking of going that route for better hole shot during the hot summer months. Wondering how much it would effect top end and overall handling. Input would be appreciated.

I ran a 26P trophy all last year (until I dinged a rock). I love it! Honestly I didn't see much drop at all in top end speed. I had it up to 74.0mph and with the fury and similar load I was only a 1mph above that. The handling and hole shot on my boat are awesome with that prop. (although it was worked on by DAH).
Just gotta get off my butt and send it to DAH to get fixed now!

Looks like Todd Bucknell at Hydromotive has the best ideas. Talked to him and he knows the Alpha 211 very well. He has a 4 blade that should really improve my hole shot and not suffer on the top end. Going to give it a try soon as I can sell my 26P Fury.
