Any truth to a New Mercury Sho Stopper in the mix?

I was just wondering if any of you in the know have heard anything about Mercuy comming out in the very near future with a new four stroke to compete with the Yamaha Sho?

I read this on another forum and cannot figure out where I first read about it.

Any truth or information about the projected release date, if any?

Thank you for the post Jason, I don't think that is what I saw. I believe that is the old Verado with a new look, with the same 130 extra pounds as compared to the Yamaha Sho. I was under the impression that Mercury was comming out with a new engine specifically in comparrison to the Sho with weight and performance.

The first Mota will be a 3liter 150, thats what I saw on Screamandfly.com I heard about the Light weight 150 last year, but It was leaked about it being a 3liter.....I cant wait for the 5liter 225-300!!!!!
