    Arkansas State Record Bass fell yesterday.......

    A guy with a BPS rod & reel and a 6" Mann's Jelly worm caught a 16lb 5oz largemouth yesterday on Village Creek lake over by Wynne, AR. Always liked those old Jelly worms...

    Yes it does, i thought it looks like a package of dead shad they sell at Wal-Mart, slightly bigger though.

    Jealous ? no, just stating an opinion. no doubt it is a big fish .good for him or whoever caught it. looks like they waited a while to take the picture though.

    The guy probably put the fish on ice and just walked down by the water later to take that pic. He was catfishing when he caught it.

    Like to see Arkansas get a share a lunker program started, but probably never happen as we seem to eat everything...... Still, though, hate to see a 16lb fish killed......kinda breaks my heart that she wasn't released.
