That seems to be what everyone is saying.... I got one & I'm sending my 28 Bravo out for B&B real soon...I'll let you know how it does. I have a 2200 with a 250XB.

riverratmd... if you need any help in getting use to driving that monster, let one of us know... the bravo will make a world of a difference when worked...
hey Kevin, Mark here. hey buddy, you shouldn't be having an issue getting that puppy to jump up. start off with your tabs down and motor tucked in. if u are having an issue, call ole yankee steve and tell him you want your money backlet me know and good seeing you here on the gambler side of things.
I got a 30 bravo thats vented if you wanted to try we could hook up and I'll let you try it I'm here local. What prop you running now? I got another prop that a 28p that you could check out also.
HaaaaWhats up Marky Mark? Got everything tucked its just got a bit of lag right at the start then it kicks in. Once up its smokin. When you run do you trim to about 2 or 3? Does yours have that little lag when you floor it? Fish on brother!
if you running a PRO XS, get used to it...
they are required to "SPOOL UP" before they really create much power...
you will learn to "SLIDE" into the throttle, and it actually will use lest gas and accomplish same speed coming out...

That lag can be taken care of by Mark. In all of our testing, we found either too much rake or not enough rake with a full barrel can lead to a slight delay. Granted, i do have an XB but i have 2 Bravo1's both built by Mark. One has a small amount (1/4" i think) of rake and the barrell was cut by about 3/8" and the other has a little more rake (3/8" i think) and a full barrell. I was experiencing the same slight delay till i sent the props back to mark. Both props have the exact same holeshot, same blistering mid range, and both props ran to .3mph of each other. I agree with low Slung it could be the Pro XS as ive never owned one but i believe there might be a fix...again though, dont quote me as i have an XB.

Wow good to see another WH gambler Gamblurr man! Thanks for the offer.
Ive got the Bravo 1 28p and from what im hearing thats the way to go.
Do you fish any clubs in the area? I just heard they cancelled the Big Bass Bash this year which sucks. That was always a fun tourney.
i have a 26 trophy worked by mark. with my XB there is no lag. it bites and goes and loaded or not. I do use the jack plate depending on if i.m loaded or not. try raising your jack plate a little. what are you running it at? but then again, i have a 2100 with an XB. what about Sandi, he has/had a pretty red gambler from WH. he use to be on the boards here. great guy. i talked to him a few times
I have been runnin the JP at 2 . Havent met Sandi but just saw a red G boat today in town. A bit older boat but very nice with Double poles.
Sandy ran a 2100...big difference between the 2100 and 2200 with these Bravo1's. I always keep my plate between 3 1/2 and 4 on the JP gauge...doesnt matter if i'm loaded or light...i think you might have a delay since the motor might be too deep? Could also be the prop? Could also be because we have different engines...i ran a bravo1 built for a 2100 and couldnt run it past 77. The 2200 needs a bit more bow lift and the 2100 needs more stern lift...these two bravo's i think could find their way back to Mark themselves.![]()
Plus, there's a HUGE difference between a 26 Trophy and a 28 Bravo1...though i bet that 26 is a rocket out of the hole. Dont forget, the bravo has a large flared barrel vs the small straiht Trophy barrel.

I thought Sandy sold his Gambler awhile back there, but i could be wrong but yeah theres only about a dozen or so Gambler's here in Winter Haven,,, but if you need help with anything shoot me an IM and we can hook up and get you steered in the right direction![]()
hey kevin, sounds like this guy might be the one that can help you out, nice and close. sounds like you might raise that JP up a bit too. and speaking of there being a dozen or so gamblers around, when i bought mine i hadn't seen that many. about the 2nd weekend out i bet there must have been at least a doozen floatin around. I might be interested in a good prop guy close by also![]()

You are right Mark! Once you own one you see they all over! Ran boat today and moved JP to 3 seemed much better also learning to ease the hotfoot into it!
Let me know if you will be fishin the haven chain anytime!![]()
Thanks to everyone for all the help!![]()
