Year 200 plus Intimidator?????

How do these boats run compared to the 2100 and 2200 boats and what are the HP rating on these boats. I would like to upgrade to a boat with the Trim tabs someday. What is the ride like compared to the larger Gamblers? I would like to find one with or without Motor I would like to put my Yamaha on it. How will it handle the 300+ hp I have now? What are you guys thoughts?

My dad has a 2001 intimidator 2000, rated for a 235, I absolutely love his.....handles exactly like my 2100...with his 225 efi we could get 78-79 fully loaded, he now has a 250xs and it runs 83 all day with a stock 27 trophy....
Only thing that I like better about my 2100 is the extra 3 inches of leg room in cockpit....I'm 6'2".... While fishing or riding, I honestly can't tell a difference in them....

I dont see many guys on here with the Intimidator 2000. I sure would like to see how one would handle my Yamaha with 300+ hp. The power to wieght has to be better than the 2100. What do they wiegh? Is the hull design very different than the other gamblers? To me it seems like a match made in heaven for my Yamaha. I would really like to find one to swap motors with mine and sell mine.

Ive got one... I would recommend going with the 2100. The ride would be better, and I have speared several waves in mine that wouldnt have happened with a bit longer nose. The hulls are basically identical, I think the 2100 is only like 100-150 lbs heavier. You can look the specs of both up on the old gambler website. Trim tabs started mid-2000, my boat doesn't have them. Wish it did for holeshot and also low speed cruising on pad.
