    Propping newer Outlaw......

What prop is best for the 200hp newer single console Outlaw? All around for holeshot, midrange & top-end. I have a Detwiler Hydraulic jackplate so that is good......had a chance to play at our Stockton rally this past Saturday. Best all around run so far was with the 27 tempest plus. 5900 rpm and 76mph GPS. Need some cupping if I keep the 27 Tempest as it blows out even with all PVS plugged. Have to use half throttle to get up on plane. This 3.3 litre Ram Ficht is a beast and is quite powerful for a 200. I really think I could turn a 28 with this motor. Your help is always appreciated.

    Cheers !

SOUNDS LIKE YOU'D BE PERFECT for the 27 FURY...
it's a stiff prop and will not blow out on hole shot, and will give you more top end than that Tempest...
the tempest will have more mid range, and about same hole shot...but the FURY will slide by on topend and NOT cavitate coming out of hole...

I have a 28 Razor 3, it is stiffer then the Tempest and supposed to be 2 to 3 mph faster, never had a chance to try it, I switched motors, prop is perfect. Going in the for sale section this weekend unless you want it. Let me know

Im running a 24 razor3 on an outlaw with a 150 and it seems to be a great prop for this setup. Fixed plate 31/2 below pad. No blowout quick holeshot good mid and runs approx 69- 70 with 2 guys. No wheel torque and runs tight. Dukes would be a sweet prop if you can turn it.

    Hey Duke,

Do you think I can turn it? As long as I can get it to 5700 RPM it should be faster than mine.....

I have a 25 trophy done by mark and it is the perfect prop for my setup.
72-74mph gps all day long...great holeshot mid and top. I would like to try a fury though.
