    saftey switch

    on my jave and jonny 200 i think that the saftey switch is goin out or somethin sometimes you have to wiggle the handle to get it to turn over. is there any way to test it and where is even located at?

    Sounds like the neutral lock out switch in the remote is what you are talking about. You have to remove the handle etc, to remove the box from behind the gunwale. CM

    ok cool thats kinda what i thought but i wanted to make sure now all i have to do is figure out how to get the handle off.
    i tried it one time but never got it off got pi$$ed and quit

    Shift the handle into reverse, there is a slot in the bottom of the handle that now will be facing forward, in that slot is a 1/8 allen set screw, back it out 3 turns....Do Not remove it, remove the rubber cover in the center of the handle and the phillips head screw, the handle should pull off.

    The fun part is getting the control box out and back in.

    Talk about nightmare. You need to have wrists the size of a 4 year old and be double jointed. And then the mosquitos and black flys.
