Broke one of the small pipes that leads into the bottom of the livewell...

I broke one of the small pipes that leads into the bottom of the passenger side livewell. Are these pipes easy to replace?

They connect on the bottom side of the livewell, and it has broken off where it was bent to go and to the livewell. Does anyone know where I can purchase the piece to replace it.

It's just letting water flow into the boat, and my bilges are constantly going off. Any help would be much appreciated.

i would take the broken piece to Homey D's or any hardware store and get a cap to glue on for a quick fix while I figured out what I need to fix it for good. Im sure its a standard pvc pipe size.

Does it have the quick connect fitting?

i believe so. right under the livewell right? Im not around the boat right now, and it would be hard to get a picture of it anyway. I don't want to do the quick fix.. the easiest thing to do is just keep it out the water... but still that's hard as well.

It looks like an easy fix...

I broke one on my old boat and I couldn't find one locally because they are made by Mayfair. I had to call Mike Price at Gambler and he had me a replacement in 2 days. You could get the same one without the quick connect but you would have to put a hose clamp on it. Bass Pro or any online marine store should have both types of the 90 bend fittings.

    Simple.

    It's a 90* fitting with the "quick connect" .
    MayFair makes it.
    BEST BET IS GAMBLER.

I've had to replace one after a "ROUGH DAY" on the Potomac River.

What was so hard about the trim tab?
20 minutes tops, start to finish.

just plug off the hose until you get the parts tyler. Heres a link to the flow-rite products. https://www.flow-rite.com/cata.../feed Its just as easy to get stuff from suppliers as the MFG.

They must have forgot the whole tube of silicone in yours.

No need to take the hole tube out.
3 bolts and wire grommit, and the tab actuator comes out.
You do have to un-bolt the tab plate from the actuator and jack the boat up a little for clearance for the actuator to come out.

I have had to replace 5 actuators in the last 2 Gamblers over a 8 year span.
I'm trying to get someone to sell me the motors inside the actuator.
All the motor builders want a 2000 motor purchase.
Lenco will not sell me motors. They order motors that are allocated for each actuator they build.

Re: Broke one of the small pipes that leads into the bott ... (JAZII)

What i was referring to jazz was the exorbitant amount of silicone they put in the tube. The first time I replaced an actuator I couldn't figure what the heck was holding it in there. I got a mirror and looked up the tube All I can say is that it must have been a free for all on silicone in Fla that day. The bad one had to be pried out with a long pipe.

Try these guys. http://www.lectrotab.com/products/actuators.php just as good but they are not as proud of their stuff as lenco.

They must have been "playing" the day they did your boat.

I have never had silicone in the tube to actuator.
But, the tube to the hull is a whole different ball game.

Lectro tab motor will not work in the Lenco actuator.
I'm not willing to buy TWO more actuators at any rate.
I've been fitting my own brushes in the Lenco motors, but after awhile the armature gets too worn out.
