I noticed some of the 2100 in the for sale section have 300 HP motors on them. How are they able to get a that motor on a boat rated for less HP?

theres 6 bolts on the back, sorta between the jackplate and the motor...
you would need to remove them and the existing motor, then find a 300, and install....LOL....JK...
man you can put whatever motor you want on a boat...only time it may bite you is in a few larger sanctioned tournies....

People say that any boat over 20-21 feet long there is an unlimited hp rating.... but if you have a max hp plate rating, and you are busted... then you can pretty much go off of what cowtrimmer said...![]()
