was on gaston this afternoon....had a BALL....caught my biggest catch of season, which isn't saying much, 16lbs....on way back accross lake, cruising around 60mph, notice some vibration...

turned my head to look at motor and saw ALOT OF shaking from the motor, NO clanking though...patted the throttle and she still had plenty of power...dropped back to about 40 and eased back to boat ramp...set her down, trimmed motor up, hoping it was the wheel.....WHEWWWWW, it was...

slung another blade off the trophy...

Cut off the opposite blade and see how it does as a 2 blade.

Is this the same prop you used against sterling's stratos with the 225?

i've never run against STERLINGS stratos...that was my dad with his intimidator...

Word of advice. Get the lower checked and call the insurance company. I threw a blade and a year later blew the lower. After further review, a wrist pin went into the main gear and broke the lower shaft. Basically, the wobble of the prop ruined the seal and eventually the lower's lube was replaced with water.... I only idled a mile after the initial blade loss happened.
