    Livewell drain valve

Where can I get another livewell drain valve? The one on the boat is broken. I have been to several dealers here and none of the carry that type of thru the hull valve.

You would be better off just putting plugs in the livewells. That is what the newer ones have.

What do you mean by plugs? It has plugs in the bottom of the wells.

    Re: Livewell drain valve (Jayson-206TE)

The livewell drain valve on my 206 goes thru the transom and drains out the back. The boat has a levor on the livewell control panel that allows you to keep it closed or you can open and drain the livewells as long as the plugs are not in. Thanks for your help.

Take a hose to it and force the water through. You can also try and manually open the valve. Mine sticks the first time of the season.

Try blowing some air through the drain in the livewell. Or from the transom into the livewell.

    CABLE BROKE AT THE VALE.

T & H Marine should have the valve kits with new cable.

The cheapest fix is to remove the cables from the valve lever. Manually open the valves with the lever that's on the valve.
Use plugs in the livwells to hold them full.

The plugs in the wells are the most fail safe method for live wells.
The less mechanical parts to fail the better.

Buy your wife a couple bottles of wine, you'll get brownie points and new plugs for your livewells My 209 cables work but a little water leaks in so I keep them plugged anyway. Also can use the well as another cooler with the plug in

I put the water house on outside of hull and blew backwards through the valve and it fixed mine.
